Zoom Discussions planned for the “Supreme and Unsurpassed Mahamudra of Liberation”

Two Photos of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, The Holy Vajrasana Temple.

As part of our discussion of the “Method Path of Bodhichitta,” which we will restart September 23, we will consider the merit-building part of the Mahayana Stage of training to become a Bodhisattva and ultimately a Buddha so that we may liberate all beings. We will delve more deeply into the practice of cultivation, laying the groundwork with the principles and practices expounded in The Dharma of Cultivation and the first chapter of Learning from Buddha by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and certain other practices from the Lam Rim tradition. As part of this we will also study the Buddha Master’s Supreme and Unsurpassable Mahamudra of Liberation. I have now added the questions for that part of the course and wanted to alert anyone who might want to join us for this part of the course. We will consider the preliminary translations we have of the two oceanic mind-essences: the “Xiaman Most Excellent Practice (P01)” and the “Enlightenment Emptiness Practice (P02X).” The video readings of both of these mind-essences are available in C41(A).
