What Else Is New at Learning from Buddha College and Seminary, October 29, 2022

Two new videos of the class held on October 29, 2022 concerning DCB26-How to Realize Prajna have been added to that course for Buddhist Studies and Xiuxing Seminary Students. Please note the announcements concerning the addition of a question and several minor editorial changes to a couple of questions. We have also added an additional class for next week on November 5 at 9:00 am to finish the questions on the Preliminary Practices and other matters that we must master on our journey to Buddhahood.

There will be at least one more class meeting for Learning from Buddha College and Seminary’s (LFBCS’s) DCB26-How to Realize Prajna, which will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022 to finish with what we need for a concluding practice and the testimonials of several students who have read the text, Imparting the Absolute Truth through the Heart Sutra.

We hope to start our first group discussion on DCB21-Imparting the Absolute Truth through the Heart Sutra: Forwards, Introductions, & Title on Thanksgiving weekend, November 26, 2022 at 9:00 am. This course and the remaining courses that we hope to have on the Heart Sutra will only be open to those who are enrolled in one of the paid membership programs at LFBCS. We opened DCB26 to anyone who was interested partly to generate interest in the curriculum and partly because we want everyone to have the background materials in this discourse.
