On the news tonight, Lawrence O’ Donnell reported that someone, who lived thousands of miles away on the west coast, told how she wanted to join those who were going to their balconies or rooftops in New York City every night at 7 PM to clap and applaud the first responders, medical staff, and those working to help care for all of us resisting and fighting the Covid-19 virus. Even if you are alone, just go outside and show your appreciation. Who knows who will hear you. Even if no one does, you have shown your thanks and gratitude to those who are enabling others and ourselves to survive in these difficult times.
