I wasn’t sure it was a good idea to hold another class on What Is Cultivation?, but it was. I think we could have spent another hour having all 37-38 who attended giving their stories on how they were taking these fundamental Buddhist principles and concepts and applying them to their daily lives. The questions and insights offered were great! I revised the chants using different translations for some of the “Ten Good Characteristics.” We had almost 80 people register for the class and open mike sessions, with I think 6 no shows. Not everyone attended every class , but I think around 35 attended most of them and a few of you only made the open mike sessions. Again, I wish we could have had more time to talk about “coarse” and “true” cultivation and share our experiences of each. I pray that you all take this dharma and use it to manage your karma so as to become accomplished.
