We held what I had thought would be the last class on “What Is Cultivation?” yesterday. However, several participants complained that they felt we needed more time for the final and probably most important part of the text–how do you implement the principles and concepts presented in the text? I agree and would like to have one more session to focus just on that. There was some excellent discussion on the second of the two Seven-Branch Contemplations on Bodhicitta that I would like to explore further. I would like to see other examples of how we can apply these principles to our daily life. Also we could spend more time exploring the Five Vidyas and the difference between coarse and true cultivation. The final instruction on how we should do our daily introspection also deserves more attention. We will conclude with a special introspection on just that.
I hope that as many of you who attended any of these classes can return for this final session and those of you who have not been able to attend any of the other classes join us as well. You can always reread the text and review our other classes by clicking below. I hope to see you next Sunday.
