We are resuming the Saturday morning classes to discuss C41(A)-The Three Principal Stages & Paths of Buddhist Practice this Saturday, October 28 at 9:00 am on ZOOM. We will continue our discussion of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha’s Dharma of Cultivation and the popular Tibetan “Seven-point Mind Training” and other methods to develop Bodhichitta as expounded by Je Tsongkapa and other Tibetan teachers.
As I predicted in an earlier BLOG, two major changes to future discussions of the LFBCS course C41(A) will enable us to have ZOOM discussions of both of the major Dharmas given us by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III: The “Supreme and Unsurpassable Mahamudra of Liberation” and “Imparting the Absolute Truth through the Heart Sutra.” Click the titles for more information and CLICK for a revised flyer with the latest schedule of classes.
I have been working on a new program that focuses on Dharma practice with the goal of enabling you to receive and integrate the major teachings of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and be able to complete a Solitary Retreat. I plan on this being the foundation for C41-Lesson 7-The Conclusion and Next Steps. The following chart provides a summary of the various lessons and parts of C41.
We held another informal ZOOM discussion on B24-Lady Niguma on October 24 where we discussed various aspects of the stages in the Niguma’s “Path of Illusion” and the actual nature of illusion itself. We will continue this discussion on Tuesday, November 7 at 9:00 am on ZOOM. Anyone enrolled in either the Buddhist Studies or Xiuxing Seminary programs may join us. CLICK for links to both enroll in the course and register to obtain a link to the ZOOM sessions.
