What Can You Do?

Stay at home. Stay at least six feet away from other humans. Assume everyone has the virus. Wash your hands, Don’t touch your face. Make your own mask. Make more for your family and friends or people you don’t even know. Donate to help provide surgical masks to medical workers and other essential workers. AND use this precious time at home and alone to deepen your dharma practice and cultivation. Join the Lemonade Sangha.

The New York Times published a pattern and instructions that you can make yourself with or without elastic, which you may not be able to find. If you use white fabric, like kitchen towels, you can wash and bleach and reuse. I also found another method on-line that uses paper towels. I am sure there are more..

I am sure there are more, Do what you can. I will add other links as I find them. You may post them in the comments as well.

  • There are much conflict between laypersons wearing masks or not. Because of the fiddling around with it on the face some specialty believe that it is a perfect place for mor germs . I was in fact , at the post office. Watching a guy adjust it, then itch, several times. Unless one is coughing , has a cold. This masked wearing may not be a good thing

    • I know, but as of last night both Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Deborah Birx are saying that, if worn correctly, they are helpful. They may not prevent you from getting the virus, but they can reduce your ability to transmit it and we may not know if we have it.
