QUOTE-Entering One’s Original Nature

Chanting the Buddha’s name is for concentrating the mind. When the mind is concentrated such that all stray thoughts are gone, there is only Buddha in the mind. Having one Buddha in the mind, there is no differentiation. Hence, naturally, the mind becomes empty and tranquil, and one enters into the original nature. That is to say, when one chants the name of Amitabha Buddha with a non-differentiating mind focused on that Buddha, one actually has even forgotten that Buddha!
