Qigong is Different from Buddhism

In Lesson 16 of DCB23-Expounding the Absolute Truth through the Heart Sutra last week, the Buddha Master explained how certain visualization practices of qigong related to principles learned in regards to understanding emptiness. This is also discussed in LFBCS Course D15(A) “Will Supernatural Power End the Cycle of Birth and Death? Qi-Gong Is Different from Buddhism.” H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III explains the role supernatural powers play in obtaining enlightenment and compares Qigong practice to Buddhist practice. It provides many examples including the magic performances of Las Vegas performers. It also explains the difference between qigong and what occurs at the Kuan Yin Great Compassion Empowerment Dharma Assemblies.
