I am glad we got some photos of the eucalyptus tree by our lake before Mother Nature decided to relocate it. We had a very fierce wind storm this week and it blew down the lovely giant that shaded our lake. Seeing the size of the tree’s roots, it is amazing that it was standing at all. We will miss the shade and shelter it provided, but it does provide a screen from our Eastern neighbors.

I sat under this amazing tree many times. It will be missed . Thank you for the picture . It was a great place for introspection.
I know. I can’t bring myself to remove it. Several people have stopped and offered their services in removing it, but I am going to leave it as long as I can. There are two young pecan tree that will become more important and a sweet gum that turns vivid colors every fall, but the grand old lady was queen. We will miss her.
I am so grateful for the time spent with this wonderful tree. It brought me much peace . Thank you for sharing this information. I have just cut down several trees. The local gods were not happy. This tree at the temple was
a very special one.
