We started holding classes again in Hesperia at 10161 Choiceana Avenue on November 7 at 10:00 am with chanting and a short meditation session at 9:00 am. We intend on continuing mostly on the first Sunday of every month thereafter. CLICK for SCHEDULE. We started in January 2020, but soon closed due to COVID lockdown. We continued where we left off with a class on the basic dharma of “What Is Cultivation?”.
We were able to have a tour of nearby Holy Heavenly Lake and the future site of our Green Tara Temple and Retreat Center shown below. Looks like we got a great view of the mountains and are next to the Mojave River.
In the future, I hope to be available on either the Saturday afternoon or evening and the Sunday afternoon of our scheduled events to meet at the Dharma Center with students and those who are interested in knowing more about Buddhism and our plans for building a small temple and retreat center at Buddha Town.
