“Ginger-Lemon Grass Sauce”

Helen Pan’s Mom’s Magic Ginger-Lemon Grass Sauce.

This magical potion is guaranteed to make anything so-so absolutely fantastic. It is a secret (now not so secret) recipe from Helen Pan’s mom who like Helen is a fantastic cook. It requires few ingredients and if you have access to lemon grass and ginger, very easy to make. I had it on noodles, vegetables and salmon and it was wonderful, but I think you could use it on just about anything. Very highly recommended. I will add a picture when I have one.

1 pound of ginger with skin, chopped finely

1 cup lemon grass, chopped finely

1 cup neutral oil like avocado

1 Tablespoon sea salt

1 Tablespoon sugar

Just combine and stir fry slowly on low heat for about 30 minutes or until you smell the ginger and lemon grass. I bet you could use a food processor, but leave a little texture. It is not a paste, it is more like a sauce. YUM!!
