Yesterday, September 24, 2022, we held our second class in this series and finished the questions in Lesson 36 on Causality and Methods of Continual Practice. We discussed what we must do to realize enlightenment, the role the various Dharma Protectors play in our practice, and the need and methods of cultivation we must practice, preparing us for next week’s class on these methods. I am sorry to report but somehow I must have deleted the recording we did of this class as it does not exist.
On Saturday, October 1, 2022 we will start Lesson 37 on preliminary practice dharma. We will continue to discuss and reflect on what the Buddha Master taught us about what we do in our cultivation after we have a mind that is cognizant of impermanence as well as what are some methods to reach that state. This lesson deals with how we prepare to “Learn from Buddha” and some of the Dharmas that will be discussed in more detail in future lessons in this class that are essential for realizing prajna. Remember, this whole course (DCB26) is based on the “How” we need to realize prajna that we can start now and continue as we study the sutra itself in later courses. If you have not already done so, please CLICK for link to register for this class and join us, if you have not already done so. You do NOT need to register again, but can use the same meeting code for all the sessions in the series devoted to DCB26-How to Realize Prajna.
