I started Saturday morning July 17 at 9:00 am reading from a preliminary translation of a Dharma Discourse given by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and will continue every Saturday that we are not in retreat or out of town. I will repeat reading these discourses on Tuesday mornings at 9:00 am starting July 27. These are discourses that were given both in China in the 1990’s before the Buddha Master came to America and at various times and at various locations in the U.S. and other countries. We realize that these translations will not be complete and may contain translation errors, but they also contain many teachings and principles that we need to understand. Hopefully we will have available copies of approved translations that you can study to have a more complete understanding of these teachings. I will start with the first discourse that many of us were able to hear on “Impermanence” that was originally recorded in China before 1998. This is a basic concept that the Buddha Master tells us we must understand that relates to the basic principles that form the foundation of the Supreme and Unsurpassable Mahamudra of Liberation that many of you have been following: the fact that we must die and that our lives are like a dream. This teaching must be understood to be able to understand all that the Buddha taught.
