The last session of DCB26 held on November 19, 2022, focused on the Concluding Dharma that we should apply to our study of the Imparting the Absolute Truth through the Heart Sutra (ITATTTHS) and a general discussion on the text and what the Buddha Master promised us if we read, study and implement what we learn from this sutra. We also revisited and discussed the “Dharma to Pass Through Barriers” that the Buddha Master had given us in the discourse that served as the basis for this course. We did not discuss the testimonials offered by three disciples at the end, but they should be included in any serious study of this great Dharma.
Buddhist Studies and Xuixing Seminary students at the Learning from Buddha College and Seminary may view the questions covered and the recording of this session at DCB26-Lessons 40 & 41. The Concluding Dharma part of this video accounts for only about a quarter of this video. Most of this video was devoted to a general discussion of what the other classes in this ITATTTHS series would cover and individuals explaining what coming to the temple and actually reading the text meant to them. There was also an excellent overview of what the LFBCS programs contain.
