Thanks to all of you who sent kind words of appreciation for the four week course we all took on What Is Cultivation? I was pleased with how well it went and your participation in bringing this magical text to life. I never cease to be amazed at just how good it is. I knew that it was a special transmission when I first heard it, even before it was translated and I knew what was in it. I am not sure what or who the flashing lights were who celebrated this text, but it was appreciated in other worlds as well as ours. I hope we can do as well on the Great Dharma of Zen, which will begin next Sunday. I am also happy with the Open Mike sessions we have on Saturday and will continue them as long as there are others who want to participate. It is a small enough group for everyone to have an opportunity to participate–something we really don’t have time to do with the larger class. I am sorry that I can really only see the first 24 people who join as the second or third page of the zoom (there are 25 images per page in gallery view) platform do not show on the recorded sessions. You can scroll through all the pages when the session is live, but I can rarely do that while the class is in session. If anyone knows how to get them included on the recording, please let me know. I do watch the recorded sessions to see what all of you (on the first page at least) are doing and how you are responding.
