We finished our discussion of the second lesson on Learning from Buddha on the concluding part of the complete Buddha Dharma practice. We first reviewed what we had learned on where to find the Pure Lands and the correct mindset to hold in the various stages of arousing bodhichitta. Our discussion of the concluding practice focused on how to dedicate merit and why we do so as well as how to see off our yidam after we are done. We also discussed several examples of Dharma practice including that of Dharma Protector Rahula and the Avalokiteshvara (Kuan Yin) Bodhisattva Great Compassion Empowerment Dharma and why the concluding practice was the most important part of the Avalokiteshvara Dharma.
