Between February 10 and 21, 2024, the Holy Miracles Temple in Pasadena, California held a food and goods drive to help living beings in southern California. Volunteers collected food for families who needed it as well as pet food for them to feed their pets. They filled a semi trailer and distributed it to three organizations who, in turn, passed what was collected to those in need. The Friends in Deed Food Pantry received three pallets of food; The Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA received seven pallets of pet food and a promotion to help get their pets adopted; and the Heart of Compassion Distribution Food Bank received six pallets of food. The Heart of Compassion is an organization devoted to diverting food from landfills and to those who need it. The following video (Mostly in Chinese) documents this compassionate and successful campaign.
