On June 24, 2018 thousands of followers of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III gathered at Holy Heavenly Lake, California to celebrate the Buddha’s birthday. Although it was quite warm, a cool and magical breeze prevailed. Some attending saw and could smell nectar raining through nearby trees. The Buddha blessed and empowered those present with a very fragrant nectar pill and gave a discourse that emphasized the importance of cultivation and the basic principles of Learning From Buddha. Hi, I did not read the whole article, but only read the first few sentences. I think you meant “Some attendees”, not “Some attending”, right? By the way, “smell nectar dropping (or falling) from nearby trees” may be better than “nectar raining from nearby trees”. Just personal point of view for your reference.
Thanks, for your comments. I think either “attendees” or “attending” can be correct, but your second comment is not correct. I can understand why, because I made a big mistake. It should read “nectar raining THROUGH nearby trees.” The nectar does not drop from the tree. It comes from the heavens and does not even touch the branches or leaves of the tree. It is very mysterious. If you read the other articles posted on the blog on July 1, you will see what I mean. Please go to https://www.zhaxizhuoma.org/raining-holy-nectar/ to see other examples of Holy Nectar raining at other events or https://www.zhaxizhuoma.org/how-is-nectar-bestowed/ to learn more. Thanks for enabling me to correct the article.
