The weather has been amazingly wet here at the temple. We have had flood evacuation alerts as well as tornado, wind, hail, lightning, and heavy rain warnings off and on for the last week or so. There is water everywhere. Our pond is full and overflowing, but the sun does come out and when it does it can bring rainbows and the bluest skies and fluffiest clouds possible. The only flood we have had at the temple was early in the week when they released snow-melt from the Sierras and gave us an extra bit of early flood irrigation that we did not really need right now, although we can still use a lot to replenish our ground-water. The foothill lakes are full and more rain is anticipated and the 70 degree weather here will cause more snow melt upstream. My neighbors well went dry before the rains came and they took water from our pond, so all this moisture is welcome.
