The Peapeople of Sonora

At least once a year, we plan a trip to Sonora, California to visit a  menagerie of wild turkeys, peafowl, cats, deer, etc. Four new peachicks have joined the ostentation of peafowl that have congregated at Reba and Uma’s home. Two are a fluffy yellow and will probably become almost white like the one Sonya is holding. Another one, seen here resting under my chin(s) was the runt of the litter and the last one to hatch and so weak, it would probably not have survived with its birth mother. It now requires almost constant attention and affection but is now very strong and lively and very vocal. Click for more.
