D56 & D56(A)-Benefiting Living Beings. The videos for the reading of a preliminary translation of PARTS I and II of this discourse are now available from the Lemonade Sangha classes held May 7and May 14, 2022 along with the related homework assignments and excerpts from discussions that followed the reading of the Discourse at the classes for the Buddhist Studies and Xiuxing Seminary students. In this discourse H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III explains how He propagates the correct Buddha Dharma that can enlighten one in this lifetime & how He benefits living beings. This is one of the discourses given to senior disciples while traveling on a 2009 trip to the East Coast. This course has been added as a prerequisite to “G40-Thus Have I Seen: The Marvelous True Buddha Dharma and Its Power to Transform,” a course where several disciples share their experiences with H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and why they follow Him. G40 should be considered a companion course to D56 as it provides insight into what the Buddha Master does do to benefit Living Beings and what the dharmas are that He propagates as Dharma as seen through the eyes of some of His students.
SB31 & SB31(A)-A Journey through Shakyamuni Buddha’s Early Suttas (the Nikayas or Agamas)-I. We are adding the first of four courses that will be offered by Pannavati Bhikshunni and her students from the Correct Cultivation Learning from Buddha Academy in Hendersonville, North Carolina on the Majjhima Nikaya (the Pali version of the Agamas), the earliest known recorded discourses of Shakyamuni Buddha. SB31(A) provides just a recorded reading of nine suttas, while SB31 offers the Buddhist Studies and Xiuxing Seminary students the reading plus questions for reflection and application in your daily life for each of the nine suttas. There will be three more courses offered like this based on different suttas.
