In an effort to review, refine, and revise our courses, I uncovered a video of the Q&A that followed a class taken just before our Buddha Master left this world in 2022 that I would like to make available to you who follow this blog. We were studying a discourse on Esoteric Buddhism given by His Holiness while He was still in China in the 1990s–D44(A)-Esoteric Buddhism. It explains why the LFBCS courses were developed to be followed at three levels (Auditing, Buddhist Studies, & Xiuxing Seminary) and why I released them as I did. I offer this as my apology for mistakes and short comings, as I wanted to get as much as possible available to non-Chinese speakers.

Videos Available on Esoteric Buddhism

The Q&A video is available to anyone by clicking the PREVIEW button in D44-Esoteric Buddhism. This was the only one of the videos in this course that had a Q&A as we found out right after this class was held that our Buddha Master, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, had left this world (I think it was on the same day the class was held) and we spent the next weeks and months in mourning our lost. The other three parts of this discourse were recorded without an audience several months later.  Although there were unanswered questions and mistakes made in the discussion, the rest of the discourse answers some of the questions raised. It is also significant that my comments about the Buddha Master were so true. I think anyone wanting to understand our form of Buddhism will appreciate this discussion.

There is a second video where I comment on experiences I had that relate to the content of D44: relics or sharira, the rainbow body, and the selection of the current Pachen Lama in China. That video is now also available to all by clicking the second PREVIEW button. Of course you can also enroll in D44 and take the entire course or watch all four of the videos of readings of the Buddha Master’s discourse for free as AUDITING students.

We have almost 100 courses now available at Learning from Buddha College and Seminary. I know there are mistakes and problems with some of the courses and I appreciate your help in correcting these errors. I ask for your patience as we do this. Also the official translation group will be hopefully releasing official translations of some of the discourses and new ones that will provide us with even more of the Buddha Master’s teachings.
